I believe the university classroom is one of the most sacred places on earth. Very few environments exist where we can voluntarily engage to expand the limits of our understanding and to become something better than we were before. As an instructor, my primary goal is to increase students' ability to engage in critical thinking, to solve problems, and to become conscientious members of society. To do this, I primarily use an experiential learning model and encourage students to apply principles from the classroom outside of the academic setting.
