Hobbies and Personal Interests

I am a person who simply cannot sit still. When I'm not researching or teaching, you will likely find me engaging in one of my numerous (and ever-growing) hobbies. Some of my favorite pastimes include knitting, pickle ball,  and raising/breeding backyard chickens. I also love fishing, wood working, hiking, camping, reading, nearly all sports (especially soccer, tennis, and volleyball) and cooking. I love dabbling in new arts and have experimented in acrylic painting, mosaics, and spinning wool. I love traveling, and I'm always game to try something new!

When I am more established in a community, I hope to expand both endeavors by creating a non-profit community knitting and candle-making social enterprise.
